When you select a text fragment while browsing a website, usually it's because you want to do something like copy it, open that webpage, search for that information on the Internet, etc.
Auto Context is an extension for Mozilla Firefox that gives you a context menu specifically related to the selected text fragment. The context menu pops up right when you select the text and lets you avoid right-clicking on your mouse after selecting.
But it doesn't just show you the context menu, it also adds on useful new functions like opening a selected text as a URL (very useful for web addresses that aren't hyperlinked) or searching for the text on Google, Yahoo!, or any other search engine.
All these features make Auto Context an absolute must for Mozilla Firefox.
